Lookin’ Good in Wood: Your Eastern White Pine Projects

Eastern White Pine Projects

It’s that time again – let’s take a look at all the amazing stuff you’ve been working on using Eastern White Pine! Last time we checked in with what builders, crafters and nature lovers share on social media under the hashtag #EasternWhitePine, we discovered replica balusters, gorgeous timber frames, stools carved with chainsaws, wood burning art and more. This time, we’re psyched to see Japanese tool boxes, stunning floors in an old Pennsylvania farmhouse, beautiful live edge lumber, custom kitchen hutches and the huge logs going into a new home. Love for the Eastern White Pine tree even extends as far as permanent markings on skin.

We always love to see what you’ve got going on, so please keep tagging and feel free to submit projects to us via Facebook messenger.

This eastern white pine was installed to match this 1700's Bucks County farmhouse. These soft woods can be a bit of a challenge hiding that scratch. It's extremely important to vacuum between grits and making sure all those nails are set. My final sand was with Bona Diamonds 80 on the powerdrive. They polished it up beautifully and removed the visible paper scratch. Oiled this one up with @bona_pro Craft Oil Clay and top coated with Traffic HD Extra Matte. Push yourself every day to be better then the last! #craftoil #buckscountypa #buckscountyfarmhouse #easternwhitepine #historicalrestoration #flooringcontractor #phillycontractor #mattefinish #woodfloors #hardwoodfloors #hardwoodfloorrefinishing #bonacertifiedcraftsman #nwfacertifiedpros
